A few years ago, my husband and I were like many other couples, thinking that hard work would eventually get ahead. But at the end of each month, we realized we were not getting anywhere. Making a budget and living modestly did not seem to help. Anxiety about some unexpected bill that we would not be able to pay became constant. Something had to change! I was not sure where or how to begin. In looking back we did some of the dumbest stuff that is considered normal. No wonder we were broke! My story is no different than many others who struggle each month with money management. My only regret is that it took so long for me to find a successful answer.
Financial coaching is not a get-rich-quick scheme, but rather a basic approach to thinking differently about how money is handled. I will encourage and support you in learning positive financial behaviors that will allow you to take control of and improve your money management skills.
